Portable Appliance Testing
Concept Electrical provides Portable Appliance Testing for all mains electrical equipment. According to the HSE, 25% of electrical accidents can be attributed to portable appliances. The Electricity at Work Regulations place a legal responsibility on employers, organisations and landlords to take practical steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of such equipment.
We supply full test results, highlighting any failed appliances on completion of testing.

Minimum call out charge £100.00

| 101-200 | £1.79 Ex VAT |
| 201-300 | £1.69 Ex VAT |
| 301-400 | £1.59 Ex VAT |

Minor faults found during the course of the inspection will be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested. All minor repairs are carried out free of charge, including the following:
- Replacement of faulty or damaged mains plug (BS1363)
- Replacement of damaged or incorrectly rated fuses
- Re-wiring of incorrect connections in the mains plug
- Repair to faulty cable grips in the mains plug
- Minor repairs requiring less than ten minutes labour
- Re-test following repair
